Frequently Asked Questions

We provide both residential and commercial HVAC installations, repairs and maintenance services.

We provide 24/7 Emergency Services.

Like any other product that you want to keep in good working order, your HVAC equipment needs proper routine care in order to function at its maximum capacity. Additionally, HVAC equipment that is regularly serviced lasts longer and is more efficient.  We advise you to regularly allow our trained technicians to service your heating and cooling products to ensure they are working correctly and efficiently.  This will help you prevent having to pay for more expensive repairs, and avoid any disruption of heating/cooling during the hottest or coldest months of the year!

There are many different ways to reduce your energy costs, but one of the top ways is to make sure your HVAC system is energy efficient. This can save you a lot of money in energy costs in the long run.  We carry many products that are energy efficient and can help you to decrease your energy usage, thereby saving you money. Other ways to save money on energy costs include: booking ongoing maintenance to ensure your system is running efficiently; considering a zoning system if you have clear areas of your home that you want to heat or cool (this type of system allows you to target certain areas, therefore alleviating wasted energy on areas that aren’t used); or investing in a programmable/smart thermostat.

This can vary greatly depending on the type of filter that you have. Many of the high-efficiency filters only need to be replaced once or twice per year, while the standard fiberglass filters should be replaced monthly.  Please speak with us if you have any questions about your filter.

Coil corrosion can happen on both the outdoor condenser (via corrosive substances in the air and rain) and on the indoor evaporator coil (via volatile organic compounds or VOCs).  Both of these types of corrosion create tiny holes in the coils, causing issues such as lessened efficiency of the HVAC unit, higher electric bills, loss of climate control, and wear-and-tear leading to early replacement of the unit. The best way to prevent coil corrosion is to have regular professional HVAC maintenance that includes cleaning both coils.  An additional line of defense to preventing coil corrosion is to have an anti-corrosive coating applied on clean coils.
