Coil Corrosion

Coil Corrosion can cause expensive problems in HVAC systems, including requiring coil replacement or even potentially necessitating replacement of an entire system.  A system with coil corrosion may have reduced efficiency, unattractive surface deterioration, or equipment failure. Facilities that are located in more corrosive environments (for our area, near salt water) are particularly prone to experiencing coil corrosion. In order to prevent coil corrosion from becoming a serious issue, we recommend having your coils cleaned on a regular basis by a professional HVAC technician.

Additionally, we offer several types of protective coatings.  Contact us for more information!

Custom Duct Work

Your duct work does the critical task of linking the heating and cooling functions of your furnace or air conditioner and the air vents that keep your home comfortable. If your ducts are not in good shape, it will affect how well your systems are able to heat or cool your home. Leaky ductwork can be the cause of up to 20 percent loss in conditioned air, creating an extra cost every month.  Our technicians specialize in custom duct work, fabricated with tight connections and precise measurements, which efficiently delivers heating and cooling throughout your home for improved comfort and efficiency.  Custom ductwork can also prolong the life of your HVAC unit by improving the overall performance and reducing repair and replacement costs. Give us a call and we will be happy to inspect your system and offer recommendations for improving comfort and cutting costs!

Fuel Piping

We have qualified technicians to install your piping for propane, natural gas and oil. Whether you need a new fuel pipe installed or pipe repair/replacement, our technicians can take care of all of your needs, both commercial and residential.

Dehumidification

A common misconception is that an HVAC system acts as a dehumidifier.  In fact, the AC’s ability to remove some moisture from the air Is incidental to its goal, which is to remove heat from the air. While an AC may remove some humidity, it generally cannot remove enough moisture to maintain acceptable levels during the most humid times of the year. Adding a properly located and sized dehumidifier is the best way to remove damaging moisture from the air.  This can also reduce energy costs by lowering HVAC use. Oil Furnace Repair

We know what an investment a new heating system can be, so you can trust our trained technicians to help keep your furnace running as long as possible before replacement is advised.  We predominately service Thermopride & Armstrong oil furnaces, but usually can work on any brand.  Our 24/7 Emergency Service ensures that we can have a technician dispatched to your home any time, day or night, to make sure your home is warm again quickly!

Mini Splits

A Mini Split is a ductless system that allows you to control the temperature in individual spaces, increasing comfort and energy efficiency.  The system has two main components: the outdoor compressor/condenser and the indoor air-handling unit. This type of system is a great solution for your whole home or business, as an add-on to a house with a non-ducted heating system, or a room addition.  Please contact us today if you would like to discuss whether a mini split system may be right for your home or business!
